ANIMAL CONTROL

The Animal Control Officer (ACO) is responsible for the enforcing all City/County/State laws concerning animals. 
Anyone not following the laws concerning animals are cited for the violations. Any animals who's owner cannot be found, are placed in the Blackfoot City / Bingham County Animal Shelter. 
Anyone who would be interested in adopting an animal or is missing an animal should contact the Blackfoot Police Department at (208)785-1235. 
The ACO works Monday through Friday from 8 am until 4 pm.
